China and India held the 36th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on China-India Border Affairs (WMCC) in New Delhi on Thursday. The two sides exchanged views on issues including boundary delineation, border management and control, mechanism building, and cross-border cooperation, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
Both sides agreed to maintain communication through diplomatic and military channels and work together to safeguard peace and tranquility in the border areas, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The meeting was co-chaired by Hou Yanqi, director-general of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Sujit Ghosh, Joint Secretary (East Asia) in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. Officials from the two countries' foreign affairs, defense, interior and immigration departments also attended the meeting.

。每日商报讯杭城的跑友们请注意，2026江苏银行杭州湘湖半程马拉松将于10月18日鸣枪起跑，眼下，报名通道已正式开启，感兴趣的市民朋友记得看好时间。在赛事设置上，今年的湘湖半马分为男子、女子两个组别（21.0975公里），赛事规模限制为10000人，参赛选手须年满18周岁（2008年1月1日前出生）。10月18日7点30分，跑者将于湘浦路的起点处出发，途径湘湖路、眉山路、湘云路、金秀路、南六路，并在南六路与风情大道交会口折返后沿南六路、定山路、湘虎路、湘湖七彩绿道、湘师路、湘湖院士岛、湘虎路、越王路最终抵达终点下孙文化村。

B | 跑者可以通过赛事官网“www.xianghumarathon.com”或微信公众号“杭州湘湖马拉松”参与报名，报名通道将于8月28日18点截止。需要提醒的是，若报名人数超出限制人数，需等待抽签结果，届时将于2026年9月中旬公布抽签结果，中签之后才算真正的报名成功，可获得今年的参赛资格。和以往不同的是，本届赛事不再设置欢乐跑项目，仅保留半程马拉松。如果想带小朋友一起参与跑步活动，11月8日在湘湖将有一场专门为亲子家庭打造的赛事，大家可以通过“湘湖发布”了解详情。
